Amazing! My tanks are nearly full!

A few good falls of rain and this large rainwater tank is nearly full. The small tank out front is full but I have been watering with the larger one. With some more rain, the total capacity will come to 4.1 kL.

Lettuce has been planted by Ben and Josh. And the herbs have awakened! Oregano is growing as well as the sage and thyme. Last week, Judith dropped in and her Moishe helped me prepare the beds for further planting. He dug the area up and planted more lettuces - followed by watering.

I'll need to put a special shade over the ferntree. Last summer, that intense heat burned it and turned each frond brown and brittle. It sprouted new fronds a few months ago so it's still alive. Now I'm waiting for warmer weather to start new growth. I don't know if the shade idea will work but it's worth it to give it a go.
